15 Standout Beauty Looks from the Paris Runways

15 Standout Beauty Looks from the Paris Runways
Paris Fashion Week came to a close, which means Fashion Month is officially a wrap — and we have tons of beauty looks to cover. The City of Light provided a plethora of no-makeup makeup and cool French-girl hair (because obviously), but some of our favorite looks also included bold eye makeup (see: Dior) that was casually applied with the most unlikely of brushes and the sporty beauty look seen at Stella McCartney. But those are just a few of the très amazing hair and makeup we can’t wait to recreate.

1. Hermes

This look is an editor favorite from Fashion Month. What's not to love about glowy skin, shiny hair and an intricate yet effortless updo?

2. Dries Van Noten

Makeup artist Peter Philips used a charcoal-colored eyeshadow to sweep across lids starting at the inner corners of the eyes for a soft, smoky effect.

3. Isabel Marant

Models' no-makeup makeup look was perfectly complemented with hair raked back into a casual knot styled by Sam McKnight.

4. Christian Dior

Extremely long and sleek side ponytails by Redken's Guido Palau were paired with dramatically opaque eyeshadow.

5. Miu Miu

The coquettish ponytails worn by models on this catwalk were inspired by the equally playful prints and bright jewelry.

6. Balmain

Thanks to Sam McKnight — and the inspiration he drew from Michelle Pfeiffer and Lauren Hutton in American Gigolo circa the 70s — models got the most sleek

7. Lanvin

Legendary hair master Julien d'Ys styled a classic plait, which he accessorized with a black grosgrain ribbon modeled after a photo of Brigitte Bardot he came across.

8. Nina Ricci

Makeup pro Aaron de Mey used a technique we're calling colorless contouring by using highlighter and strategically using a gloss to bring out cheekbones and lids, while going heavy on mascara.

9. Chanel

Models at this show were given a "boy" or "girl" look. Makeup master Tom Pecheux gave models with the "girl" look a graphic cat eye and pink lips, while "boy" models got a heavy dose of slate eyeshadow all over the lids.

10. Stella McCartney

Dewy, radiant skin and sporty ponytails styled by Eugene Souleiman kept the beauty vibe fresh and youthful at Stella McCartney.
